Privacy Policy
Bobby: Edinburgh's Lucky Dog is made by Electric Sporran Ltd, the data controller for this app. This policy explains what stays on your phone, and what the ads in the free version collect.
The short version
- Your progress, pages and settings stay on your phone. We never receive them.
- Bobby has no accounts and no analytics.
- The free version shows one ad through Google AdMob, requested as non-personalised. Google collects some data to serve it.
- With Remove ads, the ad software isn't started and Bobby makes no network requests of its own.
- In the UK, EEA and Switzerland, Bobby asks for your consent before any ad appears, and you can change your mind at any time.
Who we are
Electric Sporran Ltd is the data controller for this policy. We are registered in Scotland, company number SC886423. Our registered office is Office 397, Unit LGE, 18 Young Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4JB.
You can reach us about privacy at support@electricsporran.com.
What stays on your phone
Your progress, your pages and your settings are stored on your device, and go no further than your device's own backups. Reminders are scheduled on your device. Bobby has no accounts and no analytics, and we receive none of this.
Ads in the free version
After your first finished page, the free version uses Google AdMob to show one ad on today's page and under its notes. Bobby asks for non-personalised ads only, and never asks to track you across apps.
To serve and measure those ads, Google and its partners may collect your IP address and approximate location, device identifiers, how you interact with the ad, and diagnostic data. Google's own account of this is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you're in the UK, EEA or Switzerland, Bobby asks for your choice first, and relies on your consent. You can change your mind at any time: open the Year page, then the sliders, then About & privacy, then Ad privacy choices. If you decline, you may see more limited ads, or none.
With "Remove ads"
Once you own Remove ads, the ad SDK isn't started and Bobby makes no network requests of its own.
Purchases
Apple or Google handles the purchase. We never see your payment details.
If you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to answer you (the legal basis is "legitimate interests"). We don't add you to any mailing list, and we don't share your email with anyone. We keep support emails for up to a year after your question is settled, and then delete them. Ask us to delete them sooner and we will.
Children
Bobby isn't aimed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and the ads are requested as non-personalised for everyone.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of any data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at the address above. We don't hold any beyond any email you send us. For what Google holds, see myaccount.google.com. In the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We'd be glad of the chance to put it right first.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update this page and the date above.
